I loved him with all my heart,
He loved me too,
I know,
Even though sometimes he'd just smile back when I uttered the words.
We shared long talks in the sunset,
And enjoyed long walks with goals set,
I was your moonlight,
You were my wolf, right?
But the peers,
Turned treasured moments to tears,
For you were not anymore the one with ears,
To listen to me when I spoke my fears,
Now I'm broken
Cause baby I saw you in shades I never thought I would,
Maybe you were just like the rest,
I should've known best,
Bridges were burnt,
Lessons were learnt,
But now all I can wish is that we were NOTHING.
