Please steal my pain. She was trapped, She was fragile, She was insecure, She was feeble, But to them she was in control, She was weak, She was scared, She was misunderstood, She was misjudged, But she still smiled, She was shattered, She was broken, She cries, every night, But no one cares, She's like glass, She's in pieces, She's afraid someone will get hurt trying to fix her, She's Leonardo Da Vinci, And her wrists are the pages while her razor is the paintbrush. Please steal my pain.

Mwananchi. "May we dwell in unity, peace and liberty, plenty be found within our borders" Is it not this which we sing every Monday and Friday morning in our different parastatles. Mwananchi you have turned against each other forgeting our brothers from other mothers. Mwananchi don't you know that the politician that is providing you with guns and stones sleeps soundly and eats a 4 course meal while you're here hustling. Mwananchi I'm disappointed. Aren't you the one who will run to mama pima to buy chapati madondo while the person urging you to boycott your human right to make a choice that will bring change can not stand leave alone eat that meal. Mwananchi you deserve nothing but a shame on you. Your children are crying, your mother is starving, your pregnant wife is ailing and you're busy in the television beating your bare chest. Threatening the men who are supposed to protect us. Mwananchi is it not you who provoked the policeman? Then yo...

Dear stranger. Hello stranger, I hear that you took whips and nails on your hands for me, I hear that you wore a crown of thorns for me, Hello stranger can you hear me? Mr stranger. A girl in my school claims how much she knows you and as I stand beside her, I feel unworthy, You know I wonder sometimes How I make mistakes but you still forgive me, Hymn 64 sings "WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS" But usually I disappoint you and at that point I seem so not much of a friend. Stranger I try so hard to be good ...

When she spoke, The world tingled at her voice, She had this twinkle in her eyes, Her eyes, beautifully curved, Her lovely pierced dimples, Her heart too was of gold. They called her naive when she secured her heart To her first love, He promised never to hurt, Never to deceive, But promises are meant to be broken, Aren't they? She committed crimes, Crimes of love, Of which she'd pay a dime, Just to have, He said "baby let's start over." Her heart said never, But still she had to ponder, She thought of all the tears, All the years, All she missed, All her dreams, that he took away, Since he wanted her to live his way, And with the same twinkle which was dimmed,  She shone once more, When she said No, And for the first time in a long time her dimple appeared.
